I know you’re just trolling. But by modern definitions of war crimes Sherman is closer to being a war criminal than Truman is for bombing a nuke.

I’m sure you don’t know this, but the US government estimated that an invasion of mainland Japan would cost 1 MILLION of just Allied Forces. Don’t care if it was a “war crime” or not. It was deserved and was a loss of less life.

Do you know the definition of a war crime? For the record I don’t think either were war crimes but the case is stronger against Sherman

Look< do whatever mental gymnastics you have to do. We deliberately targeted civilians. We did. It was calculated. Great, it worked out. It (May have) saved lives. Ok. I’m fine with that. But we deliberately killed civilians. Just as we (and others) have done throughout history.
