This is the fattest “everybody used to be skinny” post I’ve ever seen.
And don’t worry, Kamala and Walz are going to Make America Skinny Again by severely restricting the available calories per person.

It's just sad. I can't imagine that any overweight people ever truly feel good. They probably don't even know what feeling good actually feels like since the best they feel is still pretty shitty. I let myself get overweight for a couple of years and it was miserable.

Because our health insurance premiums are going to be subsidizing the predictable consequences of fatties getting their fat on.

We all make $400k plus. All of our trucks are 20 year old pieces of junk and paid for. None of us finance anything. We all have a real estate portfolio, beautiful wives, dozens of sidechicks and big ole peckers.
sorry you don’t
and yes fat people are disgusting

Pay cash, you won't have to worry about it.

When the problem is this widespread, it feels fair to ask what systematic factors are in place that are leading to such a consistent failure to be healthy.
Is it the source of our food? Is it our culture? Our education? The devil tempting us to gluttony and sloth? Where’s the failure coming from?
Yes, each and every instance is an example of personal failure. But clearly there is something happening which is making these personal failures more prevalent. What do we think that is?

I used to despise the fat, fat, fatties... with their fat faces and fat hands. Always out of breath. Back of their necks looking like hotdog packages.
But then I became friends with a few and realized they were people just like me, deep under their fats. Some of my closest baws are fats and I love them dearly.

Same happened to me, gained weight once.
My pants felt tight and uncomfortable, I got tired real easy. I could never feel relaxed and light I just always felt heavy. I was only 20lbs overweight the average person is 40-50lbs. That has to be a miserable existence.

Out of curiousity does anyone feel food addiction is a thing and if yes how does it differ from being addicted to dip, smoking, alcohol, etc?

We’ve never had access to food like we do now. Most people used to eat home cooked meals twice a day and now you can stop anywhere in a 5 min drive and load up on 3k calories for a light snack.

Yes I have a cousin who’s extremely obese. He lost his fiancé, his job, and is self conscious on going out. Despite that he still struggles to diet. It’s mental addiction vs the nicotine which is a body addiction that causes withdrawals.

Bonus: They're not posting on TigerDroppings about how disgusted they are because you've put on a few pounds.
Fat guys have the best personalities of anyone I know, and to quote a great prophet, fat-bottomed girls make the rocking world go round.

This used to be called prosperity.

Typically people this judgmental are the ones who lose their sh!t when you don't respect their pronouns, transgenders in bathrooms, etc.
I have too many things going on in my day to get triggered over a 300lb dude eating Popeyes.

I’m not even talking morbidly obese. I’m talking people who are just fat and consider themselves normal. I’m talking John Goodman early Roseanne seasons fat.

I think the pronouns stuff is dumb and trans people are mentally ill and I still have friends that are like that.
Side note most trans and pronoun people are fat

It can still be called prosperity, while also acknowledging that we are failing to manage the fruits of our prosperity responsibly.
So if we want to hone on the root cause of the obesity boom as our unparalleled prosperity, then our next question should be, “what does morality look like in an age of unparalleled prosperity?”
Because I have a tough time seeing our pattern of increasingly unrestricted consumption as anything other than an explosion in the selfish exploitation of the prosperity gifted to us. And that does not feel like it meets the moral obligations we owe to those around us.
