They can demand all they want, tough shite if they think they'll get their way.

Spoiler alert: they're going to get at least a portion of these items implemented. Some of the more unreasonable stuff will get trimmed off and the more agreeable items will stay.

The art of negotiation, bruh. Slip in a couple unreasonable terms you know won't get agreed to to make the rest of the demands look more acceptable.
I'm aware, but it's not even needed.
If anything it just shows us the entities have fringe elements they have to appease.
Nobody right now is going to oppose tightened SOPs or similar. They can get every single such item they want.

Increase the use of special prosecutors when potential hate crimes are present.
Does this include ALL hate crimes or just the ones against black people.
Also how the hell does any list of demands not include a provision on “no knock” warrants for some of the more minor issues or at least making sure all the ducks are really in a row before acting in them.

Well this is stupid. I stopped here.

This is the most logical one, IMO.

LOL. frick being a cop in 2020. This shite is exactly why they get the bottom of the barrel.

What if a citizen doesn’t want their 911 audio released to the public?

Spoiler alert for the spoiler alert:
Most of that list is already being done.

Sure is. That's why it's silly for folks to be up in arms over most of these demands.

Yeah, releasing unscrubbed 911 audio would set the centers up for all kinds of HIPAA lawsuits. Ain't happening.

Those two work. The rest don’t.

911 calls are already considered public record so

Or else what? fricking degenerates could also yknow, stop committing crimes.

Yes. And no.
Demanding a proper, thorough investigation while seemingly ignoring due process of the law is a problem.
God forbid, you end up in a self defense situation and have to kill someone. Would you want every bit of evidence to come out prior to the investigation even being started, much less completed? Police and Feds withhold evidence from the public during the course of an investigation all the time.
Part of the problem is we are given partial or edited video that rarely, if ever, tells the whole story. That gets the public in a frenzy, and there is no reset button on a riot.

No.
Rest looked good.

This would be very helpful.

Not unless something changes with the law. Currently, 911 calls do not fall within the entities HIPAA applies to.

For those arguing against this, do know that something a little similar already occurs with mortgage companies.
A rejection of a minority has to have extra justification paper work done compared to a rejection of a white applicant.
