Out of today's crime report
A 21-year-old man said he was walking with a female friend in the French Quarter when he was robbed at gunpoint by a man who tried to shine his shoes. The incident occurred about 3:54 p.m. near the intersection of Decatur and Conti streets. The armed man allegedly attempted to clean the man's shoes and asked for $20. When the man refused to pay, the armed man raised his shite and brandished a gun. After the victim complied, the man then fled on food, according to an NOPD report

They really have excellent proofreaders. The problem is they spend all of their time trying to decipher the names of some of these criminals and victims and the easy typos slip through.

I doubt that they have proofreaders at all. The errors are in way too many articles.

Their editing staff is nonexistent. I'm convinced they write these articles on their phones then post it directly to their server.
