They’re not that entertaining, and I personally would rather something else for halftime.
But the notion that a group of guys having a good time while not caring what people think about them somehow is a poor reflection on the city of New Orleans is laughable. They’re popular because it’s funny to watch grown men dance like jackasses. Get over yourself.

I'm not sure how pointing out that they are a garbage form of entertainment for major events is being a "miserable frick." Cool on them for getting gigs and having a good time but everyone around us pretty much had the same reaction of "what the frick are we watching?"
Halftime shows always suck so no big deal there but that performance was definitely stupid af.

Wow, 3 pages on the O-T about the Stompers, they must be moving up in the world.
They are fine with me and they raise a ton of money for local non-profits. I also like that it works in part because its in New Orleans and Mardi Gras parades are so much fun, not sure how well it would work anywhere else.
