I once found a friends dog who had been missing a few hours. An old dog that got in a creek halfway up a mountain and couldn’t get out.
That felt amazing and I still think about it years later. I can’t imagine the joy the rescuer felt, not mention the parents.

Kid looks a lot like my son. Glad they found him.

Grandma would be having supervised visitation for a long while.

3 year old said he was the greatest gamer at Hide'N'seek ever.

But seriously, I remember as a very young kid (maybe 3 or 4) playing hide and seek w/ my mom and even littler brother. It was my turn to hide, and boy did I hide good. My mom started to freak out when she couldn't find me. I was only hiding behind the door mom.

Damn amazing the kid survived for 3 days in those conditions.

According to National Weather Service data, the night Casey went missing, temperatures were below freezing for roughly six hours.

Sheriff Chip Hughes said the child wasn't dressed properly for the weather.

The article I read said when the rescuers got close to him he was calling for his mom. How in the hell did it take them 3 days to find this kid when he was able to call for help? I am interested to hear how far away he was from where he went missing.

If that was my son I wouldn't have left those woods until he was found.

Story I read this morning said about a quarter of a mile from the grandmother's house, and about 50 yards off the road.

Future Survivor Man. Glad he was found safe, I hope I never have to go through what those parents did for the last 3 days.
