I don't get why people even associate the Supra with Toyota. It's a poorly badgineered BMW Z4.

Such a groupthink statement. If the Supra was a rebadged Kia I’d understand but it was designed alongside BMW not some podunk brand.

As for the intent of the original post. A couple of exceptions. 1) the Hummer is too expensive. Yes it pre-sold out but damn it’s a $115,000 truck. 2) the New Corvettes maintenance costs are right up there with the Germans. Otherwise I agree with it as being a crazy value for the dollar.

I love the new Tahoe. Especially now that they can be had with the Duramax.

IMO, the previous gen Tahoe was the low point in styling.

I do like how they just straight up stole the gear lever from BMW, though

BMW may have stolen it from Cadillac. That’s the same gear lever that’s been in the Cadillac XT5 crossover for a long time.

Don't get me wrong. I appreciate it, and I would love to drive one. So much in fact that I may just schedule a test drive.

I'm just not partial to the exotic aesthetics. I'm more of a German fan in general.

Too bad Chevy fricked up the Blazer beyond recognition

Judging from their sales numbers, the Blazer is a home run. It’s a wildly popular car for them.

Wish it had a different name though.

It’s a Corvette. Even though it’s mid engined, it still has to look and sound like a Vette.

Ram Rebel TRX is definitely not a legit WYDI.

700 horsepower. It’s better, faster, and more attractive than the Raptor. Who wouldn’t drive that?

07-14 weren't beauty queens either. But then again, I really never liked that era of GM bodystyles.

My bad, they’re being made in S. Korea and Mexico for the North American market. China will make the blazer for their market.

I am talking about buying one after the first of the year.
I don't want all the graphics and BS they are putting on the first run.
Hoping I can get factory painted fenders and grill so it will blend a little better.

Correct. And I have no problem with this - particularly with building cars in Mexico. I’d rather the US, but if it has to be a foreign build, Mexico is okay.

Toyota, GM, Nissan, VW, Audi, Ford, and Chrysler all make a lot of cars in Mexico.

BTW - the Corvette is made in Kentucky. The Bronco and Hummer are made in Michigan. The batteries for the Hummer (and all other Honda and GM EV’s) will be made in Ohio.

New Defender is kind of cool but it’s a “Discender”, half Discovery. Not a bad thing but not as cool as a ‘95 model.
