1) There are open border libertarians and there are those who support immigration restrictions. There isn't a monolithic position. But all libertarians agree that if Republicans had any spine and actually ended or reduced the cradle-to-grave welfare state, our immigration problem would be far less of an issue than it is today.
2) The war on drugs has been a complete failure. And no other government initiative has done more to destroy the civil liberties of Americans. Monstrous policies like CAF are a direct consequence of the criminalization of drugs. And irresponsible people will continue to use and abuse drugs regardless of their legal status.
3) American international military presence is a ruse meant to fleece taxpayers and put money into the pockets of the political class. Our policing the world is a wealth transfer from working class and middle class Americans directly into the bank accounts of lobbyists, defense contractors, corrupt NGO's and charitable foundations run by politicians.
4) Public schools are generally worthless. Why do you think the overwhelming majority of Americans are functionally illiterate about everything other than reality TV and fast food? We spend more money on education in this country and yet live in an idiocracy. Why is that if public schools are so great?

Can you imagine how ridiculous it would sound if the Police Chief got on TV and said this dude was a Good Boy and was just about to start night school to support his family, blah, blah, blah. Yet they do it with a straight face every time some multi felon racist fights the police and dies.
