I love fried turkey, but if you need a ten foot pole to drop a turkey in the grease because it's going to be a fireball, the risk isn't worth the reward. Or is it just the idiots who put the birds in frozen than burn down their houses?

Never fried a turkey, my uncle does them and he has his house and eye brows so I'm confused.

That's what I always thought, and I realize that the ones that cook like they're supposed to don't make very good gifs. But I've seen lots of picss and clips on TV with people using the poles to drop them in from far away and it just made me wonder.

They usually aren't even that good. My family is pretty bad at cooking in general IMO.
