Reminds me of how the most trashy part of my family, 3 sisters 2 of which had 4 children out of wedlock (each one had the first one in high school), they smoke, drink excessively have trashy tattoos and none of them have a decent job. It was a milestone last year when one of them graduated nursing school. Well these are the same 3 that will shout out things such as "it's time to say fricking grace!" Or after someone finishes praying, "Hell yeah dig in!". They are loud and obnoxious too. Also their idea of great is chanting and I quote, "God is good, God is great let us thank him for our food, amen." Like they are frickinh children!! God I hate that part of my family.

Everyone showed up on time we sat down together and had a great meal and a great visit. Seems to be about the same every year. We aren't trashy.

It's me and my GF's first Thanksgiving together. She's on her period and has been in a god awful mood all damn day. We were an hour late to her families dinner because she couldn't get her makeup to look right. I don't drink but I may start

My baby girls little frick tard boyfriend showed up, unbeknownst to me. I cannot stand the bastard. I got thru Dinner without slapping his little arse. Serious amusement behind the scenes as to how long I can last with him here. The Rye is now flowing freely. God, help me!

Forgot to mention the only reason the 3rd one didnt have a child in high school is because she got knocked up by a black dude and her daddy made her abort it

Played a gig at a country club from 11am to 3pm. Made $500.

Arrived at the party at 330ish to see that the turkey wasn’t put in soon enough, my wife burned the pancetta for her salad, and my FIL was keeping the Cowboys-Redskins game off because he’d “rather let it record a while so he can fast forward through the commercials.”

Saw my 4 month old daughter was due for a bottle and a nap so I took the bullet. Now I’m surfing the web while snuggling my sleeping baby in a back room while they get dinner ready.

Not a bad day thus far.

My loser SIL and her son are currently living with my in laws. He's 28 and has never had a job. He didn't come out of the bedroom during Thanksgiving. Slept through the whole meal. She was surprisingly fairly sober today. Doctors must have changed her meds

My dad is currently doing this. And instead he puts on... the Macy's Day Parade.

I dont know if you've ever actually watched it, but it's beyond terrible. I voluntarily started doing schoolwork instead.

This happened today at ours for the first time ever.

Everyone except me and my FIL were on the other side of room and someone said everyone hold hands. People are kinda like WTF but do it anyway.

My FIL was the one that was going to say the blessing and we kind of looked at each other for a second and he turns back without extending his hand and says everyone bow your head.

I was like hell yeah, Howard!

My brother and I dug through her kitchen and found all her holiday recipies and are cooking them for our Dad. He is excited about it and we are too.

That's awesome. We went to my sister's for lunch and she made my mom's dressing and banana pudding. I was crying and eating. I miss my mom terribly.

You aren't impressing anyone.

Now go back to the mid-90s and I caused some extreme embarrassment at the annual meal. So much so that alcohol is no longer consumed.

I’m currently propped up next to a Dyson vacuum in Walmart waiting on 6pm. Pray for me.
