Per the User Agreement, if you sign up for that free year of Trusted ID where you put your info in to check if you were "hacked" - you waive your right to sue.

tl;dr DO NOT frickING GIVE THEM ANY MORE OF YOUR INFO

Liability waivers are bullshite

But then again, the $10 you would get on a class action wouldn't be signifant either

Sucks. I got the same message. You can sign up for a free year of their premier service to keep track of everything. I'd also keep a close eye on all your accounts for any funny business.

There is a link in the article where you can put in your last name and last 6 of your ssn to see if you were impacted by the breach.

Many credit card companies offer this for free. I check mine twice a month. It is one click after I've logged in to make a payment.

Probably didn't happen. This is just a fear tactic to get you to pay to have your identity protected for a fee. $$

Equifax is going to go out of business.
143 million is all the working adults in usa. Hacker got everyones info. We will all be in the class action lawsuit.
My 401k had this happen. I had to shut off my credit.
People by the tens of millions will all have legit issues.
