Have you not ever paid for books for college before ever? Are you a 1st year Freshman? Or perhaps did you lose a scholarship?

This is what I always did.
Usually they came in paperback and the front and back cover were in Chinese, everything else was English, which I really didn't understand why they did this.

I know someone that manages a store near a campus. the margins are incredible.
store buys book for 20 bucks new. store sells book for 120
net=100
Store buys book back from student for 25, store sells used for 90.
net=65
That's 165 dollar return on a 20 dollar investment, in 2 semesters. insane.

Fortran and Thermo 1 this summer. C++ was every day from 10-1, and I couldnt work if I took that

Mine were all hardbound, actually better than the loose leaf cheap DIY binder bs the book store was selling. A few were one book that the book store sold as two just so the publisher could screw people out of yet more money.
The people who can't afford books and have to use loans to pay for them at the bookstore are the people really getting screwed.

Yeah, I do. It's a 3hr class, and he told us if we want to take a nap, we can. Said he has been teaching for 31 years as of August. Curious to see how his grading policy works out

He curves, you're just competing against each other. His tests are pretty tough though but he's a fair grader. And he's very smart, engaging, and actually gives a shite. Can't say that about a lot of professors I've had at UNO.
