His constituents are doing nothing more than following every stat put out by the FL health department as if it is gospel.
One of the only news sources I've seen that is trying to accurately report and hold those responsible for tracking Covid and swaying policy is Fox35 Orlando. They take their lumps from the Covidiots, but have been proven right on everything they have taken on so far.

No, the issue was the very "experts" who are now saying masks are the end all be all are the same ones then saying masks don't matter. When you have a guy like Fauci saying masks don't matter and then a few months later saying everyone should wear one (while he doesn't observe proper masking protocols) individual thinkers are going to question the recommendation and push back.
If when this first came out the recommendation was we need to social distance, wear masks and minimize contact with people outside of our circles and the experts shot straight it would have made a difference.
The problem is, you had people like Fauci saying masks don't matter, people like Pelosi and Cuomo saying "come on down to Chinatown", and no one I mena no one has held those people to the fire.
Now people think everyone should listen to the experts. Which experts because I can show you article after article in reputable publications like the New England Journal of Medicine that say masks outside of a clinical setting are not only not effective, but perhaps detrimental because it gives people a false sense of security and they let their "guard" down.
