I would love to see how some ITT would react if they moved on from bitching about 60mm stadiums for 6A schools and saw some of the incredible ones in very rural 4A towns like Gilmer, Gladewater and dozens more like them literally all over the state. Schools in towns with 5,000 populations. You LA guys would shite yourselves. It's a joke comparatively.

I guess it's hard for any of y'all to understand that Collin county isn't backwoods Louisiana.

that's interesting. Surely TX had desegregation suits in the counties? Handled differently?

A few years ago, DeSoto Parish, LA made big improvements to its HS stadiums based on gas fracking revenue, but nothing like this.

why don't they just call it what it is????? it's an attempt by wealthy ISDs to circumvent the "Robin Hood" laws in Texas that attempt to equalize the education all children are supposed to receive.

I think these gargantuan HS stadiums are stupid as shite. That stupidity doesn't come anywhere close to approaching this one, though. Good work, I guess.

well, it's Ft. Worth so I don't know what the thought process might have been

Please tell me you aren't talking about I35 north of downtown...because if you don't know why that needed to be done...

I can't believe the growth has reached Prosper this quickly. It was a tiny town in the middle of nowhere just a few years ago

I say it in every single DFW thread. Follow the DNT phase planning. That's where the money is going.

Yeah, Texas is doing great because of Louisiana...

World-class spin.

Well, technically, the Texas NBA team in your SigPic has benefited greatly from the Louisiana team. So theres that.

World-class example.

Why hate on this? The people in that county obviously have their shite together.

Amazing what a community can do together when being decent human beings and contributing to society.

The houses are like a wave. Just wait 6 months between visit and they have advanced another half mile. It is Sim City in real life.

I like the north side of Ft Worth better, not nearly as packed

School districts in Texas are independent of cities and counties, and with few exceptions their borders are nowhere near the same.

I was in a meeting last week with city leaders and Collin County is predicted to surpass Dallas County in size and residents within the next 25-30years.

And I fully believe it.
