Near campus? People are just extremely on edge lately due to the crazies and the bullshite media reporters are looking for anything to feed the masses with fear, it creates viewers. If LSU reported every shooting that happened "near campus" in baton rouge we would have stories every week.

There's some pretty shady areas around that campus. I live near there and have run on the hike/bike trail that goes through that area a lot. Always early in the daytime tho.

It means most crimes in that area are by people that are still sleeping early in the daylight hours because they were out 'keeping it real' all night...or maybe it's all the pit bulls chained up to trees and people playing dominoes in their front yards later in the afternoon. I don't know. Again, not talking about the campus, but the areas around the campus.
