Man. It really is something to see all the liberals in here celebrating this man’s demise just because they don’t see eye to eye with him about hunting

So tolerant. So inclusive

All you figs are a bunch of hypocrites.

Since 2018, we had to watch/listen to you freaks peacock all over social media and tv about how enlightened and sympathetic you are towards people who are different than you, or look different than you, or believe something different than you…. only to find out you’re more disgusting and cold than the people you claim to hate. It’s been borderline fascinating to watch the hypocrisy unfold

You aren’t any better than the side you claim to hate. Ya bunch of queefs

I know hunters who give away the meat. You probably do too.

I don't know anyone who goes to the store routinely to buy meat that they don't plan to eat and then gives it away.

Hunters always do this nonsense.

"It's just about being outside." Really? You can go outside any time you want. Hunting has nothing to do with "being in nature."

"Well, I like to see the animals." Great. Take a camera with you instead of a gun and you can see them over and over again. Try again.

"Well, it's about the hunt, not the killing." O.k., then stop once you get to the point that you know you could have killed them.

"Well, it's about the meat."

And on and on and on...

It's not hypocrisy. The difference is that person B in your hypothetical takes no pleasure in the killing of the animal. Person A does. As an analogy, we spanked our children when they needed it, but not because we liked it or that it gave us pleasure. If it had given us pleasure, there would have been a problem. See the difference?
this is the type of guy that thinks most PTSD soldiers get is from being shot at, not that they miss being able to shoot bad guys.

no and no. I've never been dumb enough to leave my beautiful country and go hunt one of the dangerous animals on planet earth.

Thus my ages old quote about the guy.

I’m so confused. I thought you people were tolerant and inclusive of those who didn’t have the same way of life as you did?

Why are you willing to be accepting of all races/religions/skin colors/etc, but people who enjoy hunting draw all of your ire? It’s really strange to me?

Is it because hunting is TYPICALLY (but not exclusively) enjoyed by southern white males?

Is that the hang up here?

What’s your problem with hunters?

I doubt I get a genuine reply. Worth a shot I guess

Comparing a hunt to a vacation, just because they're linked under a very broad category of doing something they enjoy, is a bit of a stretch though
getting gored to death on a hunt is not a likely outcome and it’s literally a vacation for most people.

Getting gored to death might not be likely, but getting killed is a decent possibility. Just like taking your family on a vacation to Mexico city would have some decently possible outcomes. Your uncle could get attacked by a bear in Colorado. Taking a beach vacation to Pensacola Florida could even have some bad outcomes. Everything has risks, but a hunting vacation in Africa seems much riskier than many others, though not as risky as a private submarine excursion to check out the titanic type of vacation. The fact that this guy got gored to death on this hunt doesn't and shouldn't shock anyone. Sure, it might have been vacation for him, but all vacations do not have the same risk and are not really comparable.

Still doesn’t give you the ‘okay’ to celebrate this guys death. It’s just a weird stance to take. I don’t understand it

Cape Buffalo are one of my favorite animals. I've loved them since I was a little kid. I know quite a bit about them. They are a noble animal, imo.

That said, the 3,000 pound number is inflated.

A mature bull will typically go to approximately1600 pounds, with a few really big ones reaching the 2,000 pound mark.

I give away meat every year. I’ve got a cousin who’s in bad shape so I’ll kill her a doe or two and bring her the meat.

I enjoy all aspects of hunting and the outdoorsman lifestyle. It’s just a part of growing up in the outdoors on a farm and ranch. All the work that goes into your own place or a deer lease with buddies is a blast.

Some of the figs around here could never understand that.

Cute. I still don’t believe you.

Care to address why you’re celebrating the death of another human being just because he enjoys hunting and you don’t?

Or are you gonna keep ducking those questions?
