Now do the story on the 3 year old black kid, killed by a drive by shooting. Or the one, the other night where a 4 year old shot a 5 year old black child.

I'll be waiting anxiously for these stories.

The selective outrage buffoons marching orders don't allow all that now..

I don't excuse it. I just didn't comment on it. I'm guilty of name calling on here from time to time, admittedly. I think most of us have at some point.

Can you just admit you fricked up in singling me out in this thread?

Without discussing the content in the OP because I have no opinion yet, your posts in this thread lead me to believe that you've had quite a few "run ins" with the police yourself...

Cops are all assholes and dickheads! They keep arresting me!

actually, i’ve never been arrested before but that was quite the assumption. mr lunch box tell him what you told me about assumptions!

He operated on as much evidence as you did, so I'll let you decide what to call it.

Most do. The thin blue line.

I think when it comes to really, really bad stuff they obviously don't, but most of the time, they absolutely do.

This is based on old stories.

Most metro agencies have independent bodies that review cases now.

Plot twist: the cops had just forced him to take the J and J vaccine.

I will admit that I singled you out regarding the name calling. But not for your "anti-opinion" attitude. I think differing opinions can make for good debates. Of course, that's just my opinion.

I am not taking sides here and don't want to get into politics, but I'm friends with a Sheriff deputy and he has told me they still teach that mindset to new recruits. He often talks about the "us against the world" team mentality law enforcement has. He also admits it has a downside of covering for each other, though he's still in favor of it.

I think it is done with good intentions and goes awry. Just like every profession, there are bad apples and dumb beat cops that take it too far.

I'm sure there are independent agencies and such, but day to day, the biggest thing that will change it all is body cameras. They help both sides of the equation in my opinion.

Early on you only wanted absolutes like the autopsy report. But right on queue, you make assumptions if it helps you feel like you've got an upper hand.

They haven’t issued a final report.

So it’s more a comment than anything
They are paid by the family, so we can guess where it is going.

what do the prior arrests have to do with anything? neither of those were violent

He wasn’t just trying to self medicate, without any past related/similar issues that involved the police and the courts within the county which also had unpaid penalties/fines (didn’t point out business dealings, other court cases, or pre-COVID eviction cases but the issues more related to arrest in question), nor are the “cops out here killing folks with schizophrenia for “strange behavior”. all over misdemeanor weed charges”. If that were the case he would have been dead after one of his past arrests.
