So what did he die of?

Looks like that hasn't been determined yet by the county coroner, family is seeking an independent autopsy

you asked for a medical report, i provided one from the article. automatically, it’s someone trying to make money and aren’t qualified for their job. shits funny lol

It's funny the doc paid for by the family seeking money found no actual cause of death that the cops are directly responsible for.

It's just well, it could have been this. And you're eating it up.

Though seven of the sheriff’s officers have been fired after initially being put on administrative leave and another resigned while under investigation

7 officers fired and 1 quit during investigation but this board thinks nothing fishy happened. It happened exactly 1 month ago too so those numbers arent just a coincidence

I think the point that was being made is that this is clearly a "for hire" situation. That inevitably will lead to suspicion of bias.

Do you have a link to the official report?

this board (the left side) thinks all cops protect each other.

it hasn't been released yet

The Texas Rangers are investigating Scott’s case. Nearly a month later, the county medical examiner’s office has not yet released an official cause of death.

When the facts say "Scott became unresponsive late that night and was pronounced dead at a hospital," jumping to any kind of conclusion is pretty silly.

If he had that spit cover on the whole time, that'd be one thing. I imagine that would have been stated if that was teh case though.

the department fired SEVEN of their own guys for it. they must have done that cause none of them did anything wrong, correct?

Just admit you have already assigned guilt without all the information.

They found no evidence of trauma and assumed it was caused by asphyxiation.

So we don't trust cops, but we do trust boss cops?

And I guess people are never wrongly terminated too

It blows my mind and is infuriating how there are people legally making millions from marijuana in some parts of the country and people still being arrested for having small amounts for personal consumption

My bad.

Yeah, there's a reason 7 or 8 COs quit or got fired, and I doubt it's because they were squeaky clean. Unless this investigation turned up a stack of other problems, but that seems unlikely.
