How about the easy one. Why does the left passionately defend muslims, whose religion is responsible for horrible crimes against women, gays and non-muslims - yet relentlessly attacks Christians, whose beliefs never go farther than spoken or written opinion?

I agree, both religions need to be shite on equally and proven irrelevant when it comes to things like government and schools etc. Right on!

So, you don't think it's unusual that the left viciously attacks criticism of muslims and Islam, while simultaneously attacking comparatively peaceful Christian ideals? Are you just stupid or are you just being loyal and obedient?
As for the bullshite racial angle, the kid who got expelled for making a paper gun was white, as was the kid who got suspended for chewing his pop tart into a gun shape.

She should have been jailed. She was failing to do her job she was elected for. She could have just resigned or let her clerks do it too, instead she grandstanded on the sanctity of marriage before going home to her 4th husband and child out of wedlock.

I'm not talking about literal, physical attacks, but the constant deriding of Christians for anti feminist, "War on Women and anti-gay religious tenets and perceived policies was basically the foundation of the last 2 national elections.
But if you point out that muslims are far worse on these issues, you're a a racist - even though Islam is not a race.
It seems like you've just checked your brains at the door on this issue and fallen into blind obedience to someone else's social dictates.

Just as you claim in this case, jailing was extreme. She could have been reassigned citing her religious beliefs. When she took her position, this law was not on the books.

Well, domestically, Christian ideologies are shaping our laws, Muslim ones are not. We are not a theocracy and we have very important separation of Church and State foundations in this country so people are upset about it.
Marriage at a court house is not you being forced to marry gays in your church. That will never happen. Its just the word "marriage" that gets people hung up. Its just a piece of paper at a court house. The "country clerk" wasn't being asked to marry people "under God", that is for the Church to do. She was being asked to give someone a piece of paper so they could get legal benefits.
Internationally, yes, Islam is way worse than Christianity.

The thing I keep forgetting to mention is the use by a lot of media outlets of the same, misleading terminology. The earliest articles didn't show a picture of the "clock" and all of them described the case as a "pencil box." Even if this is technically true, it's very misleading. It's a very innocent description of an object which, at first glance, does not look very innocent at all.
I used to work for a PR firm, and the early articles remind me very strongly of the bullet points we used to send to outlets, asking them to craft their own story.
And it's not as though the kid's father isn't familiar with PR and spin. He twice ran for president of the Sudan.
