i also find the jealousy that some have adn the constant bashing of anyone well off ironic since most on the OT claim to be so well off.
constant bashing when these threads come up about the "rich" school as if a school that only cost 10k a year is nothing but ultra rich kids
whats funny is the OT constantly bashes poor people and dumbass decisions that make, yet constantly tells kids to go in to the trades and then in same breath treats being successful and giving your kid a good education and providing for your kids is = some bad thing and is suddenly something worthy of being made fun of

3 year update
Both of my girls are at Ascension and we couldn’t be happier. Mostly medical and legal community parents. (we are not from Lafayette)
think teurlings and stm are both good too. All of the privates here are fine far as I know.
ESA is too weird for me tho. People have been leaving in droves supposedly. Leans heavy left

Everyone I know from Lafayette that goes to VC is for sports. Junior not good enough to see the field at STM so commute 30 minutes to abbeville for playing time
