Watch the video. She’s part of the group attacking him. The whole “sweet little thing breaking up a boys fight” story was made up.
I don’t know the outcome of this case, but it’s not as cut and dry as first reported.

Based on that news report describing the provided videos, sounds like ole boy did a mag-dump after the fight was broken up.
Also kind of an interesting addition is that it was AL Department of Transportation property.

You can watch the video yourself. It’s immediate. Dude was still standing over him swinging punches when the shots ring out.

Most of the demographic on this forum have probably never even been to a party like the one being referenced. I had a buddy when we were in our early 20s rent a trailer (trashy I know), but he would routinely have parties where there were quite a few older individual at the parties with a few highschool kids sprinkled in the mix. Of course there were copious amounts of drugs and alcohol at all these parties. I have a feeling 99% of people would’ve reacted like the shooter did if they were getting pounded by a mob of people.

Based on the video…. I think it’s going to be hard for a jury to convict this guy when the video shows him retreating and being physically assaulted by multiple people, including the girl who was killed.

is that walking her down the crowded hall on the way to get organ harvested a thing? never seen that before, seems kind of creepy. prayers to the young girl and her family either way - she didn't deserve to die

This story goes to show how easily people can be manipulated or outright lied to.
Dude got jumped by a bunch of 20+ y/o’s for offering an 18 year old a beer, and then shot his attackers in self defense. He was attacked because one of them was dating the girl.
People in the aftermath were acting like dude was hanging out with a bunch of 16-y/o’s in the woods or something.
