I'll pass, thanks. If I leave Louisiana, it's for Mississippi or FL, Al beaches.

Baw, I left Louisiana for the Mississippi Gulf Coast. It sucks, don't do it. Food is awful, bitches are fat, water is brown, doing meth is a requirement, you can't get a date if you've never had carnal relations with a first cousin, even our dogs have bad credit, don't do it.

Also, all the property within a mile of the beach was bought by FEMA after Katrina and it's empty. You can't build anything here. You'd be miserable here. Stay in Louisiana, baw.

I thought the dude citing 2 nuke stations meant that’s way less than what should be running

Also, I’m sure the people charging their Teslas has to be a rounding error on total grid capacity in the summer

All electric cars should have been driven and charged at the peak. If we are going to find out that the Green plan doesn't work, beyond not working on paper, finding out early would be better than throwing trillion at it, and finding out later.

You do realize that Texas has like the 3rd largest green generation capacity in the country, and is bringing new green projects online at a rate 3+ times that of California?

Sad. Texas is full of liberals now

It is greatly exaggerated how bad the grid actually is

Except is it exaggeration when you are constantly receiving emails and text alerts asking you to conserve electricity during certain hours to avoid a blackout?

Constantly? I’ve gotten 3 total.

I’ve gotten 3 in the past two-ish weeks. If that’s not constant it’s at least consistent, and it’s 3 more than I’ve ever received in other states.

was at a RR crossing a couple of nights ago waiting for a train to pass, it was a train primarily loaded with coal, wife(no pics,) asked where was all of that coal going to in TX? I said to charge up all of those Teslas that are running around all over the place

3 total alerts but not even a flicker - West Houston. I'm not complaining
