SEE? There's a good example of a strawman. You are asking me to argue that the German allowance of unvetted immigrants across their boarders didn't contribute to the subsequent terrorist attacks on their soil and I can't possibly do that!
It's a fact though. Why would we want to bring more Muslims here and take that chance? I don't understand that thought process. You can't vet ideology. One of the tenants of Islam is to lie to westerners. We already have homegrown Muslims being radicalized. Why increase that pool.

The US did contribute heavily to the creation of ISIS, and it is ignorant to think otherwise. Again, this is common knowledge at this point. And to imply someone that actually understands this is sympathizing with ISIS is just fricking dumb. Don't be so simple minded, it's a complex world out there.
Do go on. Show me how they contributed. If you're going to call me simple minded then show me how they contributed.
Of course the world is complex. Insead of saying the US contributed to creating ISIS just say that the US influences every single action that takes place in this world. The US didn't contribute to ISIS forming. Did they help create a long process butterfly effect in which ISIS formed out of? Sure. So did the fall of the Byzantine Empire.
Are you saying the Byzantine Empire created or contributed heavily to ISIS?

Now admit it's the same reason you hope it's not Muslims
I swear to God I don't care if it was a Muslim or not. I feel for those dead people. Now, I will be pissed if it a Muslim because IM frickING TIRED OF THEIR (Muslim terrorist) bullshite and you guys need to understand that. Just because I dislike trump doesn't mean I like Muslim terrorist
Muslim terrorist are fricking miserable pieces of shite, but Trump is ineffectual and honestly looks lost.
And I did give Trump a chance during the campaign but he has repeatedly continued to act an arse on twitter and consistently tried to implement his policies in the most haphazard way imaginable.

It was awesome when it happened but killing Sadaam is looking more and more like a mistake.

Why are you hyperventilating over Trump? This thread is about a terrorist attack

It is truly one of the scary things about living in a free society. We honestly have to trust that our way of life is more appealing to everyone here that they would not risk being ousted from this country because of some religious ideaology (or any other flavor of ideaology for that matter).

Because as a free society we offer up a light to the rest of the world that says "We are the answer". Come here. While .01% of those refugees could be radical, there are thousands who aren't.
But again, I'm all for the serious vetting of these refugees. I don't understand why the argument against my type of view is that if I'm willing to allow some in then I'm obviously willing to allow ALL of them in. Even the most dangerous ones. That's silly. Why would I want to risk that?
And I fully realize that whole "beacon of light" sentence is cheesy as frick

This is terribly sad. I visited London and walked the Westminster bridge only a month or so ago. I was in awe standing there and taking in Big Ben, Parliament, and the London Eye. Such a shame that these muslim extremist continue to push their foolish agenda upon innocent people worldwide. frick em.

I was talking about giving him a chance as our president. I've always thought the guy was a huge douche bag but I voted for him and I'm curious to see how he does. He's been in office 60 days and your opinion is already formed/shut.
ps - regarding twitter, the US President should not be on twitter, that's asinine. So I agree he needs to nix that.

My bad, but this topic was central do Donald Trumps campaign and subsequently has been one of first topics he has acted on with an executive order.
So the answer is I am talking trump is because he is talking terrorism and this is a terrorism related political thread.

I'm not sure if that's correct

Osama didn't like Zarqawi his last few years because he felt he was killing way too many Muslims.

How did the US contribute to Al-Qaeda or ISIS? Your correlation doesn't equal causation. Yes, the US supported the Mujahadeen in Afghanistan and all of those other militias, that, however, doesn't mean that they contributed to the formation of ISIS.
ETA: the US supported Saddam in the Iran-Iraq war. Does that mean the US heavily contributed to the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait?
