Terror in the woods show (New Orleans)

This is a ghost/monster/alien show dealing with events in the woods. Anyway, had a guy on who moved to New Orleans and claims he saw a werewolf in Metairie at some park. He told his boss and boss said he saw a Loup Garou. I've never heard that and thought for sure he meant Rougarou, but sure enough they are both French terms for the same thing. Btw, I'm pretty positive ole boy didn't see a werewolf in Metairie at some park.

Edit: plot twist, he was suppose to meet a girl there who never showed and he thinks the girl lured him there to eat him. They should make this shite more believable

Never heard of the Loup Garou? I thought that was infamous in south Louisiana.

Loup Garou is the correct Canadian French name for werewolf. I never understood where Rougarou came from unless it was misheard and repeated as part of the Cajun oral tradition.

I grew up hearing about the Loup Garou.....never heard of the Rougargou till I was grown.

Yep, Loup (from the latin lupus) is the French word for wolf.
