How does sitting your arse on a couch watching TV get your aggression out
Exactly. The elites definitely want a divided populace (so they encourage protests) but they also want a distracted populace (so they love that we are all watching tv constantly).
It's a difficult balance, but nobody ever said that ruling the world nefariously was going to be easy.

The Berenstain Bears books were written by Stan and Jan Berenstain. You have no factual evidence that you read Berenstein Bear books as a child. Go find those books in your parents attic. They will say Berenstain

Might be a bit of a stretch
Maybe not. Split people apart, then unite behind war has been a fairly common occurrence.

He was definitely a little nutty and extremely paranoid, but you're right about war and money.
This was actually around the time Nick Saban took over at Alabama. I commented that in another era Saban would have been the GOAT military general. That's when he piped up with "it's funny you mention that..."

Why would the "elites" want a WW? It would kill tens of millions, destroy critical infrastructure, slow or halt production, and cause financial distress in markets everywhere. That means fewer inputs which means they don't get richer as fast.
If they already have the power to put a conspiracy in motion to cause WW3, what more could they possibly gain from the endeavor?

That shite crazy. I promise you it was Stein in the 90s.
I agree. It is evidence that either we are both from a different universe that somehow merged with the present Berenstain universe, or that we remember shite wrong.

Sports is one of the only thing that unites the country. It is not an accident that it is being destroyed. The powers that be do not like united. They need conflict. Without conflict what else would all these people do? No one watches the news unless it is bad news. No one needs politicians who do nothing all day.

Plus, if you have a few billion you can lose much of that and it not impact your life one bit. Especially, if by doing so you further secure your spot on top.
