Watched Andy Hamilton make Notre Dame’s All American Clarence Ellis look like a minor league batter torqued by a major league change up. Anecdote with mixed metaphors to intrigue and delight.

Just show your ID at the student gate to get into any sporting event on campus including football. That was 84.

I remember they’d notch the bottom of your ID for every game and by the end of the season it was sharp and jagged….

I only camped out one night and was almost near the top of the ramp in prime position to flip off Laetner and Hurley and was on maybe the 10th row. Why did you camp out a week?

There were a bunch of people. It was a huge party. Kids brought couches and furniture and they ran extension cords out to plug in lights and tv’s. Good times.

The football season in 2011 was my freshman year. The season was cool, but the title game? Depressed the ever living frick out of me.

What a great night that was. Perfect brisk weather. My dad and I walked over to see the game. After the play with four seconds left, couldn’t believe when we looked up at the clock that miraculously there was still one second remaining.
Pretty funny song about the one second blues.

By the time LSU hired Gerry DeNardo in 1995 I’d already grown up, joined the army, served overseas, including a war, come home, bought a house, and started my civilian career.

I attempted to teach Dennis Quaid how to speak with a Southern Louisiana dialect for that movie he did where he played Billy Cannon… I failed miserably in my teachings , because his accent sucked .

I attended LSU when our only two choices for governor were a former Grand Wizard of the KKK and a convicted felon .

When i started LSU, the biggest song on the radio was ‘OPP’ Naughty by Nature.. Nirvana’s Nevermind had not even been released yet, not until a few weeks later .
