Nah.. she definitely won’t.

There will be times, sure….

Then there will be times when she’s a total bitch bc you won’t drop $1k (or whatever the cost is now) per ticket to see Taylor Swift…

From about 12 to 22 or so they’re possessed by evil spirits.

They grow out of it, if you’re lucky they have some kids you can spoil rotten and hand back.

On the bright side if you did your job well during the difficult decade they’re much more likely to pick a good husband and make better decisions. So hang in there, and no matter how much you’d REALLY like to, don’t kill them.

I got two older boys and a 6 yr old daughter. We wanted a 3rd boy, but her little hands and the things she says to me melt me every time. One of God’s greatest gifts he’s ever given me is that sweet child.

Disagree. Our's is between two boys and grew up somewhat as a Tom Boy. Very active in sports growing up and Daddy (me) doted on her. She never had the terrible teenage years as we (wife (no pics) and me) were involved in her life and provided encouragement at every turn. She is now in Nursing School and a well-adjusted young lady that loves her daddy as much as he loves his little girl.

Yes, so girls (my daughters friends) turn into the bitches they were born to be in high school. I was lucky that me and my wife didn't raise one of those.

Good Luck.

Not so much anymore.

This....from about 13 years ago--------I have a friend who was gushing over how great his little girl was and how cute and loving she was to him and his wife and how great this part of parenthood was for them.

At the time I had a teenage girl and told him "Just wait, there will come a day when she will absolutely deny your existence, do her best to disrupt your tranquil ideal of a family lifestyle and treat you and the wife like you two are the dumbest, lamest, meanest people on the face of the Earth".

It all came true and has held strong for the last 2 years for he and his wife and it's driving them nuts. So, moral of this story is enjoy your little victories and keep the memories when things go bad. They do eventually come around, but it's typically years in the making.

I don’t want to shite on your parade, but you NEED to cherish those moments. A wild banshee will soon replace your sweet angel.

Miss when my boy was 4-5. Just slightly independent but still needy, surprise hugged me and always wanted bedtime stories.

Dude soak it all in while you can.

One night you’re going to go to bed the hero you are right now and wake up to being a zero. No one can break a man’s heart like a daughter.

The good news is IF you laid a good foundation in these hero years, she will return to being daddy’s girl again, but in the meantime you’ll die a little each day.

Live in those moments and enjoy it while you can, and suppress the urge to shoot her first "boyfriend."

My oldest is freshman at college this year. My second is a senior in highschool. They are still sweet girls but I miss those younger days sometimes. We were so busy when they were little, I feel like I didn't appreciate it like I should have. They really go by so fast.

I wish I could go back and relive some of those days. Such good times.

Now I'm sad as hell going to bed

It’s been a rough 4-5 years with that little girl.

I finally just couldn’t do anything but laugh and wait for the phase to pass.
in the same exact spot, same age.

Op.

It depends on how you raise her. Raise her to be respectful, always mindful of the future in her decisions, kind towards others, moderate in her temperament, and (what we did in our home) to put God first.

Mine is an adult and just as sweet and loving as the day she was born.

This summer - She had several weeks off from work (she lives out of town) but came back home for that time. She still visited with friends and made time for others but she told me she wanted to be able to wake up and eat breakfast with her Dad as many times as possible as it was one of her favorite memories growing up.

There was probably a time when Madison Brooks' dad looked at her and thought she was an angel. Just food for thought. Don't screw it up dad

Nope.

Just wait until she is a teenager and really pissed at you...she will refer to you as the "sperm donor" to her friends on social media.

We got through those times and she's grown now and having a good life...but damn...it was tough sometimes.

I think back to those days when my daughter was that young and needed her daddy. The love between a loving dad his daughter is just different.
My daughter is about to graduate college as a registered nurse and has never caused me any problems I guess I am the lucky one.

Just think, even if you screw up and don't raise a little angel she could still retire at 28 with 100 million dollars from her OnlyFans career.

Feel that buddy.

Got one that is a little over 2.

Wish I could freeze time sometimes. Although I am looking forward to the 5-8 age range when they are old enough to take to a basketball game
