Is it just a giant closet, or do you actually park your vehicles in it?

I'm always amazed driving through my neighborhood and seeing how many people can't even fit their vehicles in the garage because of all the crap.

I've got a few ice chests, a freezer, and my golf clubs tucked in corners. Otherwise, it's open as JLaw's photobucket.

able to park my silverado and my wife's traverse in the garage. I have a 24"x72" work bench which stores my power tools. Mechanics tool box, shelves lining both sides of the garage and an alcove with shelves for misc paints and other things. Various coolers and bins with my hunting clothes. Also have push mower, generator, pressure washer and upright freezer in there. I do need to get a shop out back because I am losing real estate with my 2 yo toys starting to creep into the garage. I believe I am one of the few houses in the neighborhood who can actually park their cars in the garage.

My garage is open, aka a "carport". I have a gate on my driveway, but I don't have an enclosed garage (it is under my roof line at the back of my house). The only thing in it are our vehicles, but I do have a storage room connected to it that I has a beer fridge in it, along with some pool supplies, and yard tools.

It’s very neat & organized. There’s plenty stored in it (lawn equipment, golf clubs, generator, paint, etc.), but it’s all hung or on shelves in an alcove. Both cars are parked in there.

My wife (no pics) parks her car in the garage, my truck is too long with the hitch in and I'm too lazy to remove and reinstall when needed.

Built shelving around two of the walls and have 90% of what is stored in the garage off of the floor.

I’ve seen nicer garages walking through the quad on a Wednesday.

Because you have to be rich to have a house with a garage that takes up 75% of the front of your house?

I have a carport. Use it to park work car and an extension of my back deck for entertainment. I have a 30x40 metal building for everything else.

A car port doesn't take up the same space? And doesn't look a million times trashier?

And garages don't have to be in front. In Dallas, we have alleys and garages in the back.

My garage is my favorite part of my house.

1 double door
1 single door.

Park my truck and wife's tahoe. have 3 work benches. Shelves everywhere. Beer fridge. Room for all lawn equipment and wood working equipment.
