That’s no good. Were they anticipating some issues in areas it wasn’t freezing over?

Yeah, there was a Slight Risk in the warm sector South of the freezing stuff. Farther North in MS/AL it is primarily a heavy rain and localized flooding risk.

Have you made a post not bitching about liberals in this thread?

The irony is the part of town he’s bitching about is a pretty fair mix of both. And where Mitch McConnell lives.

I don’t know. This tornado situation I wasn’t expecting. I’ve been like you keeping up with ice and snow reports around here.

When do you fly out? Hopefully it’ll clear up some for Saturday at least.

We’re leaving Sunday. Have some tours booked Saturday. She said everyone was planning on opening back up Saturday morning.

The local reports have said there was a chance, but a low one. When the tornado reports started coming in several of the Birmingham stations didn't have coverage initially. They had to scramble to get folk on. Fox6/NBC13 had coverage, as well as WVUA 23 in Tuscaloosa. I don't think they were expecting this so soon today.

WVUA is starting to show some ugly damage from Sawyerville on their broadcast.

That's been a weird rotation since I first mentioned it before it was even severe. Completely embedded with not great structure on Reflectivity. Definitely an overachiever to this point.

Two areas of rotation at this time. Could be a cycle.

If I ever win a billion dollar lottery I am funding a new radar in Coffeeville, Alabama.

ETA: Make that Lisman, AL.
