Up here in Kentucky, we’re hovering around 35-36 degrees until about 9 tomorrow morning and that’s when our fun will begin. Looking like freezing rain from 9 am to 5-6 pm where it’ll start to change over.

Coming down hard right now. Sounds like thousands of tiny pellets hitting the window.

Just went outside near NE Dallas burbs. Might be(maybe) just now starting to freeze. Seems minor at this point as far as ice. Still mostly rain.

I managed to get out. 6:45p to ATL. A friend of mine that was also flying was on the 6:15p to MIA that cancelled (due to MX). Hoping those that wanted to get out did and that BK's flight is cancelled.

Did you want Abbott to come trim all the trees and hover over the distribution wires?

Where abouts? I'm off 276 near Royce City (Rockwall technically) and still have power.

Looks like we got relatively lucky overnight in LR and most of the precipitation fell as sleet instead of freezing rain. Not great but freezing rain is bad news.

Tons of sleet here. Took a few pictures of the ice'd trees though. They look okay for now

Took my daughter to work (grocery store) around 7:00 am.

Slick but not terrible yet. I expect the roads will get worse as more people drive and pack it down.

Saw a few trees down and tons of branches down.

Montgomery county, just had to get gas, much colder than the 35 it says. The purple line on the radar keeps creeping down this way

Wife had to go to work briefly this morning so I went with her. Trees along the roads are definitely sagging under the weight. Saw a few big branches on the ground. Nothing too crazy, but I’d stay off the roads unless you absolutely need to be somewhere (or if you have a new G Wagon).
