PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are investigating after several teens stormed into a Philadelphia Wawa on Wednesday afternoon, stealing several items and throwing ice at customers.

The chaotic scene unfolded at the Society Hill store on the 500 block of South 2nd Street around 3:45 p.m. For the second time in less than a week teenagers stormed into a South Street business.

Workers are fed up and want these “disrespectful” teens punished.

“They’re so disrespectful. They have no morals at all,” Fred Bedford, who works on South Street, said.

Bedford works at Head House Flats and says this is nothing new for the area.

“What happened was they ran into the store like they always do, but then when they come out, they lay their bikes on the ground and then they come out pockets full, water, everything. Take what they want, come running out the store, knocking people over, whoever’s in their way, get out of my way. That’s what they do and they will knock you down. They will make sure that they get on their bikes and start running off,” he said.

Don’t even need to look at the video to know who did it

A stern call to their fathers should clear things up

Holy shite, that's where I lived. That's a very nice area but it can get overrun at night and weekends. I went to that store twice a week, not even 2 blocks from where I was.

The problem is it's a very nice area, but you get an influx of outsiders to go out on South Street and they cause mayhem

One of these flash mob teens are going to get shot soon by a Philly baw that is out just looking for a reason. Then what happens? Riots.

I wrote about this on the Poli board a few days ago. I watched teens one time attack a security guard in Head house Flats. They threw drinks and food at him and he came outside and there were 10 teenagers there looking to fight him so he went back inside. They were all on bikes. Sounds EXACTLY like the type of scenes I've seen

Why are they always on bikes? Are they that easy to steal?

Future scholars I'm sure both of their parents would be proud!

Someone needs to wait for them then chain all the wheels of the bikes together when they go in the store

Well, when you fail at raising kids, this is what you get. It’s just amazing to me how widespread it is. The fact that they could get 60 of their friends together to rob that walmart store earlier shows how wide spread it is in the community, and just how enormous the failure really is.

Philly is an interesting place. If you've ever seen the movie Creed and he's running the streets with guys on 4 wheelers and dirt bikes...that is what happens in Philly. It's gang mentality and safety in numbers. I've seen 25-30 teenagers on bikes on one-way streets going as slow as possible daring you to hit them so they can either sue or cause mayhem. It's chaos up there.

The police are so greatly outnumbered and they can't do anything without being videoed that they just let the chaos run rampant. Society Hill is the nice area of Philadelphia. North Philadelphia has zero police involvement

SJW "leaders" have contributed to this nonsense. I assume a general drag on American society is what they want anyway.

I can only imagine the arse whipping I would have gotten if I'd behaved like that. My dad would have called the cops on me himself after he whipped my arse.

This is what happens when you remove all consequences for the people commiting crimes.

The store owner/worker would likely be the ones getting in trouble/sued if they intervened.

Yet the minute anyone treats a black male aged 16-25 any differently, or even looks at them funny, they're fired and their lives are ruined.

This is why the blacks hate the Asians in LA, leading to riot-level anger- Korean shop owners don't play political correct games. They will straight up tell thugs to GTFO, which rankled everyone's delicate sensibilities.

This will continue until someone is seriously hurt or killed then the lawsuits and protests.

No question about it. My dad would have probably done very similar. I can’t even imagine having to face him.
