She is absolutely 0% to blame for being right. She is however 100% to to blame for making some poor decisions. I understand she's 16 and 16 now and 16 when I was 16 or two entirely different things. But you have to be held accountable for the things in your control.

It would be interesting to see how much parental involvement the kids have on both sides of this.

I don't know anything about you so I'll just ask this. Your post is vague to me, does this mean your wife is about to have a little girl or you're about to become a grandfather?

I haven't read this whole thread but a couple thoughts:

She is not to blame. That being said, it needs to be ok with discussing poor decisions made by the victim. The conversation of recognizing your situation needs to happen much more with young women. Not enough women are taught to speak up for themselves and say no

As far as the actual rape, she is in no way responsible for that. That is correct but she put herself in the that position by going there. That never means she should be blamed but if she didn't go, would anything have happened?

This sounds an awful like saying she deserved to be raped.

he did not say it was the parents fault unlike you.

sometimes they are shitty parents.

sometimes they are not.

its a complicated thought process so i'll give you time to absorb it all.

My little girl is two. I'd hope at age 16, she would never be in a room alone with a crater faced dipshit like that.

Everyone is to blame for something in this situation. First, the POS rapist. Second, his parents for raising him as such. Third, the girls parents for not giving her enough guidance in life to not put yourself in this situation/recognize the possibility of a bad situation when it starts to go wrong. Lastly, the girl possibly did know better than to continue to make bad decisions and did it anyways thinking it could never happen to her. I would say her parents are more at fault for this than she is though. Even if they've talked to her about this sort of thing, they didn't do it enough...same sort of thing goes with the rapist's parents, needed to beat morality and good decision making into his head.

Neither was my post but you can’t stop being a gaping vagina long enough to understand it.
