I realize you are being facetious, but here's my take.

I made some dumb decisions when I was sixteen, but when a girl said no she wasn't ready or whatever, I fricken knew better than to force her into it. I was taught from a very early age to respect other people.

Love how half of these comments start with "it's not her fault but..." and go on to question her motives. Maybe your victim shaming is the reason some people never come forward.

It isn’t the girl’s fault for getting raped. It is her fault for making piss poor life decisions, but even much more so, the parents for not raising their little girl to know better than to put herself in dangerous positions in the first place. The world has rotten shits in it. You can’t change that, but you can teach your little girl to think with their heads, and not be so oblivious to the world around them and trust people so easily. That is at the feet of the parents, and they are what’s missing in every bit of this.

You know, perhaps if we would all be less concerned with who’s a victim and who’s not, as if anyone actually needs to be told that, and use this as an example for other little girls to use their heads and not put themselves in horrific circumstances in the first place, maybe people will start to wise up, and besides all that, the parents themselves need to really be held accountable here, and they’re just not.

Where are these people?

Same for the parents of the 17 year old boy. Where were they when all this was going on?

I have been advocating for the creation of a sarcasm font for years. The internet is in dire need of this.

You’re right, it’s the parents fault for raising a child, girl or boy, that decides getting in the car with multiple strangers of the opposite sex is a good idea.

No dipshit. It’s the parents fault who raised a bunch of degenerates who get their rocks off by raping girls.

Do I really have to spell this out? Apparently so.

It’s the rapists fault. He tried to blame the victims parents. If any parents are to blame, it would be the ones who raised rapists, not the victims parents.

Thanks for rehashing the conversation, thoroughly enjoyed it. Such a high road you live on blaming victim's parents. I'll just assume you are going to come back and reiterate the same exact thing for the 5th time. I look forward to it.

My friend is a child psychologist and he calls them “psychopads” because all the crazy kids that come in have their face stuck in an iPad the whole time

totally no, she does share a bit of the fault here though.

A simple question

What exactly was her expectation after meeting some randoms online, giving them her address, jumping in the car with the boys, going to their house, and then heading to a bedroom alone with one of them?

Was she under the impression there was a unicorn shitting skittles in his bedroom?

There is undoubtably a lot more to this story.

Interesting the OT blames tourist for being robbed by being in the wrong place at the wrong time but feels the opposite about this, just shows how much our beliefs are shaped by conditioning.

Being a naive 16 year old girl doesn’t mean she should be blamed for being raped. She went upstairs to make out, said no when he tried for sex, and he continued anyways. The blame is on the kid who didn’t stop when he knew he should’ve stopped.
