Did Mordock see the part where the thief got out of the car and began to fight the car owner. Seems like open/shut self defense.

I am sure the stolen car was being used as a weapon, once confronted. Therefore, shooting the driver would be considered self defense.

Well that's just not true. The man with the gun instigated the fight with an act of aggression, pulling his weapon. And no, stealing property is not an act of aggression according to the law. Bunch of y'all in this thread would be doing yourselves a big favor by taking a good concealed carry class to learn what actual defensive use of a firearm looks like.

Without seeing the tapes... Essentially what they are saying is if I pull up to my house and someone is inside I pull a gun on them, I better make sure the fight happens inside my house rather than outside. Got it.

I would like to know who the four pussies are that downvoted you. It’s really simple, if thug wasn’t stealing a car he wouldn’t have been shot at that time. Now in all likelihood he’s going to die from a gun shot anyway but at that particular time he wouldn’t have taken a bullet.
