Are you retarded? Pretty sure I'd be popping rounds off too if my door got randomly kicked in.

It’s just like when officers have forced their way inside the wrong house and been shot at.
They try and demonize the person in the house yet, the person in the house is firing at an intruder.
At that point, i honestly feel that the there really is no excuse officers can have immunity from that. If officers are going to serve a no knock warranty, then they must get it right.

Comply or die. It’s that simple. If he wasn’t the target of the search warrant, he would have been mildly inconvenienced for less than an hour during detainment. Instead he choose to end his own life. You are presumed innocent in this country. The courts are always at your disposal. And with the amount of lame District Attorneys, you are even more likely to never even be charged let alone convicted by a unanimous jury. Stop fighting cops.
Honestly, frick all of this. If anyone comes into my house unwelcome, whether they are cops or not, they are getting shot.

I don't sleep on the couch in my living room. If my door was breached, I would arm myself and wait for the threat to enter a choke point at my bedroom door, but none of this is relevant.
So many of you desperately want to believe that armed suspects are breaching doors, with flashlights, wearing tactical gear, yelling police but I am hear to tell you it's almost unheard of.
The human mind is incredibly capable of processing the information available in this incident to conclude that it was law enforcement conducting a search warrant.
More will come out on this incident. In the mean time, I question why the perp was sleeping in the living room in the first place, why he was armed so quickly, and what his relationship was to the intended murder suspect/target and if he knew law enforcement would be looking for the suspect at that address.

You have to be a Russian cyberbot. It’s none of your fricking business why anyone is asleep on a sofa in any person’s house other than your own. Do you not ever fall asleep on the couch? That’s right, you do. And it’s also none of your fricking business as to if anyone has any firearm on them inside of someone else’s home. I have a 1911 sitting right next to me on my coffee table right now because it was just cleaned, does that make me a criminal?

Did the guy reload? I don’t know of any 22caliber handgun that holds that many rounds. I’d like to have one if they exist.
Keltec CP33 holds 33 rounds of .22 LR.

None of that matters.
What matters is they had a valid warrant. They announced themselves before they began on the door. They continued to announce themselves as they attempted to breach. The person inside fired the first shot just before breach (you can see the door silhouetted from the flash inside the apartment, just before the door fell).
Valid warrant. Announced multiple times before breach, the other person shot first.
Nothing more is going to (nor should) come of this.

The warrant was not a no knock warrant, which are not as common as you seem to think.
The police did in fact knock on the door loudly several times before breaking it down.

Did the officers announced who they were upon entry?
Nevermind, answered above me. They announced who they were several times and the "teen" still shot at them.

I thought one of the main points of the 2nd amendment was for citizens to be able to protect themselves against government tyranny.
Sure, but don’t take a stand against tyranny and not expect retaliation.

Where/when is the riot/mostly peaceful protest?

When I lived in Hawaii, I was renting a fully furnished townhouse that had better air circulation in the living room. I slept on the couch almost every night.
