Yeah, it is common for businesses to require employees to book through a travel agency or portal. But, they are typically places like American Express Global Business Travel or Egencia, not Going Places LLC with no online presence.

I'd be curious to know whether Going Places Travel was travel agent that has to be approved by the city, or is it a single bid contractor. Has Teedy used her for previous travel over the last few years? Was there a change in vendors, ever? Why the change? Are any other travel agents considered, I don't know, maybe one actually in Orleans parish??
Surely this stinks like shti. A $17k flight should not exist, even if booking the night before. It would be a shame if her office was that incapable of booking their own flights, or at least preparing enough to get a reasonable cost first class ticket. Surely this didn't pop up on the calendar and require last minute booking....
It's terrible in its own right that she is traveling as much as she is for insignificant (in my mind) reasons. One must think she might be doing so in an effort to pad her pockets, hit million mile status, or something NG weird like that. Spending 40k on a few days trip seems difficult, even if you tried hard to ball out of control. I'd bet there are additional expenses not submitted that the city is also paying for, such as the expense reports of her minions. Also, their salaries for those days of travel, etc.
I do not like this vile creature. She is single handed my ruining the city.

So we have a sketchy business with virtually no online footprint married to a man who was previously in reporting and government planning in the city of Nola...who happens to also handle copywriting and editing for a company that provides growth strategies for law firms and focuses on content strategy.
