I really dgaf anymore..I can pretty much do and have been pretty much doing what I want to do the past few weeks...there is nothing I want to do that I cant do....even all the schools are allowed to be open 100%.....

I've never had a fly shot and I'm likely never going to take this vaccine

Yeah, well, Alex Jones may be wrong every once in a while but he was right about almost everything about autism and Sandy Hook.

I'll probably eventually take the vaccine when it becomes more convenient for me, like they bring it to my desk at work.

No fear of the vaccine, but now that I have some natural immumity I'm not nearly as much of a hurry.

My life has been normal for a few months now though so none of this really has any change for me.

Can you imagine what would happen if tomorrow the percentage of vaccinated people in NOLA were 75%?

She’d shove that Goalpost down the field.

I’m just waiting until closer to any travel so I can get full use of the year or whatever I have with the card.

I don’t flu shot bc I just don’t. It’s not that I don’t believe in vaccines, I just don’t make the time to go in. They usually guess the wrong strain anyway.

I’m just one of those don’t go to the doctor til I’m half dead people.

Well thats not just exclusive to the city of new orleans

on another note.....I had lunch in that bar at a restaurant not in orleans parish and none of the bar staff were wearing mask...all the tables were full, all the chairs at the bar were right next to each other and full, not one customer in the entire restaurant were wearing mask....and the place was packed to the gills

I asked the bar maid what was up with that and she said..."We just dont give a frick"...

I have been arguing with people on here for weeks to go get fricking vaccinated because THIS was going to be where the politicians are going. The same people that are anti-restrictions are the same people that refuse to do the thing that will end restrictions. And here we are.

Personally I am indifferent about the vaccines. If you want it by all means please get it. I'm not anti-vaccine as a general premise. Even though I am unlikely to get it.

However, you don't find something SERIOUSLY wrong with the line of thinking cited here? That is get the vaccination not because you are compelled to do so for health reasons, but in exchange for executive branch government officials to "allow" you to enjoy basic everyday freedoms? HOLY shite that is the government holding society hostage in exchange for a de facto ransom. That is a very concerning precedent to establish. "Well, I don't really want to inject this into my body...but I'd like to be able to attend a parade again one day so I guess I have no choice".

It's may come down to a battle of wills when dropping restrictions. Vaccinations are tapering off and the numbers are still falling.

People value their own self over any business, so they will not be swayed to get a vaccine just so concerts can happen 100 miles away.

Its pretty damn convenient at this point. You can get it almost anywhere with walkins.

I'm getting it tomorrow and it took me less than 5 minutes to sign up.

Not in New Orleans.

Latoya will do whatever she wants and people will thank her for it.

If you have been out in the city you know that no one is listening to her, except the bars she is holding hostage.

Hell, I don't even think reddit has had a thread about the restrictions changing. Even that group of chicken littles is returning to normal life.

I was actually signed up a few weeks ago for my first dose but the second dose was scheduled for a day that I would be out of town and they couldnt make it the day before I was leaving so I cancelled it and just decided to get it if and when I'm ready

Sao reverts to sarcasm and hyperbole when the actions he has been defending go too far even for himself.

It is him admitting he doesn't agree without actual having to admit that it is silly even for him.

If you get a chance pass through Parasol's when a game is on. Honestly one of the funniest setups around.
