Don't skip point 4, Sammy. Do you think black people should be treated different because of their skin color or should they be treated as equals? How does a Democrat feel in 2022?

You skipped every one of my question.

People of equal value can recognize differences. They can also recognize when certain groups aren’t on equal footing because of prior policies.

If a cannon triggers someone, life is gonna be so extremely hard for that person.

So Republican & Democratic platforms did not flip flop in the late 1800s into the 1900s?
No, they didn't.

I am not, but you can pretend that a monument that says exactly what it’s a monument to is about a battle it doesn’t mention.

It has a plaque which doesn’t mention the battle of New Orleans

This is one of the plaques on it that pretty much puts in all in context and tying it to the entire history of the city and the spot.

Let's toss all that, though, and put up something completely out of any context for the spot to honor some guy who served as governor for 39 days instead to stick it to the rest of the people that had anything to do with the city historically.

For years it's been a Washington Artillery monument, but they removed the cannon and it's going to be a monument to Oscar Dunn, Louisiana's black lieutenant governor, who was on office during Reconstruction.

So we should expect black people to stop comitting the majority of violent crimes now rt?

Ironically, The Washington Artillery was a privately funded local militia, they provided their own men, officers, uniforms, and weapons, including cannons.

This was not illegal. They were exercising their Constitutional right to Keep and Bear Arms.

A cannon is absolutely a weapon of war and, like an AR-15, makes a great "frick Around and Find Out" statement to those who wanted to try and take your shite.

Please expand on this. I have to see what rights you think black people are limited to.
