While it's stupid that she's keeping her license, I am almost positive that no school is going to hire her.
Anyway, she would have gotten prison time and lost her license if she were a man. Women get ridiculously puny sentences for crime in general, but especially with statutory rape cases.

Honestly I'm surprised that Louisiana doesn't automatically revoke a person's teaching license if they're convicted of any felony. I'm especially surprised they don't automatically revoke licenses if somebody is convicted of a sex crime.
