Has anyone done psychological studies on this phenomenon? I continue to be amazed.
Most of these teachers are young and attractive. Most are already in relationships. Most could get all the sex they'd ever want with young adults on Tinder - all while not jeopardizing their careers, family life, and reputation.
There HAS to be some paraphelia going on where these women find themselves in relationships with boys they are teaching that makes them want to drop their panties with reckless abandon.

They know more about these teenagers than they do Tinderbaws.
Teachers might be the closest thing to parents in knowing what triggers each teen has.

It's been discussed on this board. I used to be utterly confused as well. If you are a decently attractive woman, all you you have to do is go to a bar/club, pick out pretty much any single guy there, and make your intentions known.
Personally, I now subscribe the theory that other posters have hashed out.
Being an older, authority figure makes these women feel as if they have the power. With a guy their age, they're just another chick.
It's ego-boosting for them to be able to seduce these young men and "be the alpha female" amidst all the pretty, young high school girls.

It's a good question. I'm curious as well. Like, how does that first interaction go that serves as the jumping off point? Surely, a teacher wouldn't risk just a straight-up proposition without feeling him out (so to speak) first.
I'd assume it starts with texting. Teacher probably comes up with some excuse to get the young lad's #. Then it starts with "school business" that works it way into playful banter, which turns into flirting.
