It’s assinine. All it takes is one mild symptom carrier who never went to the doctor to start a community spread that can never be tested, because it can’t be traced back to a known victom

It says the three new cases are in New Orleans again but doesn’t include the LSU and RPCC employees. Louisiana is going to be in Hurricane Katrina-level panic within a week when the number of cases and suspected cases grows exponentially.

So in the wafb link it states that the Louisiana governor said that it can take more than one kit per person so 1000 kits doesn’t mean that 1000 people can be tested.

Whole engineering dept was having an impromptu meeting about CV in a PFT classroom this AM around 8. Wanna bet it had something to do with this?

There are a limited number of test kits right now. Their use have to be prioritized or every person with the common cold would demand testing. For now, the criteria involves direct contact with infected persons.
