Majority of this board back in 2010 were current students and recent grads. The boomer takeover happened because a lot of those guys had more free time because they retired.

That's what I've heard from boomers since forever.
I’m one of five kids in a family with siblings born from ‘49 to ‘61.
I’ve never heard anything like that from anyone associated with that age group.
That’s simply a random thing some single person came up with that has no real popular traction.
