Indeed. There was even a pop song called "Where its at." But it wasn't written by your precious pop queen.

The irony is that I don’t think you could afford two turntables. Maybe the microphone.

I do weekly hiking.

Of course we have high tech devices like plastic and foil to help protect them.

It's impressive how well your smugness oozes out of the screen.

IF you want to sit here with a straight face and tell me the Weeknd could sell out a tour like Taylor has, you're just lying to yourself.
The Weeknd is definitely more popular than Taylor Swift worldwide... 15M more monthly listeners on Spotify even while Taylor is peaking in popularity right now

And yet she has outsold every artist in music history on this tour.

i will never understand being absolutely obsessed with an individual like most Taylor Swift fans are (which are overwhelming majority women if that says anything)

If you wanna give her the title of having the best tours, sure. I hear they're great and my girlfriend is obsessed with her too. The Weeknd is just bigger overall

I’m sorry, I just don’t think that is correct. This isn’t even about defending Taylor Swift. Whatever, she’s doing just fine with or without my help. I just don’t see how factually what you are stating is possible. Spotify? That’s it? That’s a free service for most people. This girl is setting every record possible and in the middle of a world tour that is not only sold out but people are paying out the arse on the secondary market to be there. There were literally debates in Congress about the practices of Ticketmaster solely because she crashed their site and caused it caused mayhem.

I have nothing at all against The Weeknd. Terrible name, but you do you. I swear if he was performing in my city tomorrow night I wouldn’t even know about it. They had to triple the number of trains going to Foxboro for Taylor Swift due to demand.

Heaven forbid people have some fun. If it is not for you so be it, but no reason to hate on others. It's a fun tradition and little girls especially get so excited when you give them one and they can share the ones they spent hours making in preparation for the show.

I swear some of you are miserable people.

Writes her own stuff. Plays her own stuff. Sings her stuff.

Makes 2 billion dollars.

I don't have to like it (but I do have a couple of her songs in my playlist) but I do have to respect it.

And I'd MUCH rather see her than Jason Aldean. Or some raggety hip hop act that can't carry a tune.

i recognize her talent, but can still think that most of her stuff is garbage and she openly antagonizes half of her audience with unnecessary political takes she doesn't have to take. you can be pro gay and pro choice without being an a-hole. i'm rabidly anti lgbtq (in its' current form) and pro life while maintaining friends who feel differently.

i like "our song" and "Tim McGraw." "shake it off" is an undeniably catchy song, but after that i'm out.

eta: TL;DR i can recognize talent and marketability, even if it isn't directed at me like Barbie. I do prefer people that don't aim to overly offend.

I had fun posting that comment...

But in all seriousness..I don't care what you do. If you are spending something with a comma in it for a Taylor Swift concert be confident enough to not be put off by some random comment ( even though it's true...my 4th grader came home with friendship bracelets tied to her water bottle. I had to cut them too put the bottle in the dw)
