We aren’t nearly angry enough yet for it to make any difference. Most of y’all are sleepwalking while staring at apps and trying to make enough money so that you can still live in peace after social security runs out of money because white people stopped having kids.

Dance studios full of Catholic kids shouldn’t be making little girls dance like that, people should have more decency at public pools, global pop stars who know little girls idolize them should not glamorize dressing like a stripper, and most of y’all don’t consider these things because you think it’s just more fun not to.

Swift is in her 30s. A fair chunk of her fanbase is around the same age (mostly middle-aged, Millennial moms honestly) as a result. She's been making more mature music for awhile. If kids parents aren't having conversations with them about the music they're listening to, that's on parents. Not on Swift.
This is like folks being outraged over Sabrina Carpenter's latest album cover because her popular music today is for young adults. She shouldn't have to continue to cater to young kids just because she was on the Disney Channel a decade ago.

I'm a bass head, and on long trips I don't want to hear swift, I change the XM channel when she comes on. She is a teeny soccer mom singer that that hasn't aged well.

I can kind of go with you on this, or at least concede that it’s a coherent and logical viewpoint. But personally I still think we are all responsible for our behavior and its foreseeable effects and that what you outline above is not an excuse.

So music artists who performed (whether on TV or on stage) as kids doing kid content should always do kid content because you want to Peter Pan them?
That's far creepier than just acknowledging that these artists are adults now and they're allowed to act like adults.
