Not in AZ. Almost all events here (sporting, concerts, etc) allow you to bring in one sealed unopened bottle of water with you.

Don’t know all the details but if it’s that hot and I have a bottle of water I’d down it before going in.

Oh come on, the cost of a Taylor swift ticket should at least come with water, esp if the tempers were triple digits.

She's got nothin' in her brain.
That's what people say, mm-mm.
She charges too much for her concert dates.
But can't make 'em stay awake.
At least that's what people say, mm-mm.
That's what people say, mm-mm.

But somehow, this will be the artists’ fault. No personal accountability.

I dont think so this time. There are videos of Taylor helping. She stopped at one point and pointed to some fans and said they need water.

To a rational person, no she won’t have any responsibility. To attorneys and money hungry people, she’s who will be sued.

It wont be a popular take in this crowd, which is silly, but agreed.

If you are hosting an event with high risk of heat related issues - some attempt to mitigate those should be a baseline.

Selling general admission tickets that presumably have people baking on a sidewalk/parking lot for hours to get in, and then likely a real challenge to get back and forth to water once in the general admission…. It’s asking for trouble. At a baseline it ruins the event for attendees, even if everyone makes it out ok.

Being seated and not GA is a huge help but if GA- shade for lines, water distro, etc….should be the bare minimum’s

I get not allowing people to bring in water. It would take forever to check and sniff every bottle brought in.

But at least give out free water or have temporary fountains when it’s that hot and that many people.

I’ve known of college football games where the forecast was so hot that they allowed fans to bring water in.

There is a special place in hell for people who opine about things that “should” happen in their personal utopian fantasy. Of all the virtue signals it’s the most pathetic.

In fairness, there should have been at minimum water stations , but knowing the quality of tapwater in Brazil, I don’t know if that would’ve been any safer

that's a venue issue, not an artist issue.

She doesn't sell water.

The headline should read "Taylor Swift fan feels that going to a concert is more important than living"

I'm positive she wasn't being held at gunpoint and could have left at any time.

She will not be at a Chiefs game today because they play on Monday.
