I’m not disagreeing with this. But you could make the same argument about nearly every investment.

Ehh, the government isn’t limiting the amount of houses being built, which would drive up demand and price.

Driving a taxi takes little skill. It's insane someone would charge 700k to drive one.

It's even more insane a greedy, fricking idiot would pay for it.

I don’t think they should. But a frameworks gets put in place either by electing government slobs or by constituent inaction. The law abiding have historically played by the rules, as crappy as they are. It is the lack of certainty with respect to rules and the cronyism thst has small business unable to keep up.
