I’m not sure when nose rings became a thing, but I’m not a fan. Would never date a girl with one.

Of course women can be attractive with those things, but 100 times out of 100 they would be more attractive without them.

Nose, eyebrow, tongue etc. rings/piercings are easily removable. Tattoos are semi-permanent. I've always seen a different level of trashiness (lack of future thinking) with tattoos.

I'm a member of a small country club here. The other night I took my wife, my daughter and a friend over for dinner and our server had three hoops in her nose. One on the outside of each nostril and one in the middle. I could not look her in the face. It is so unappetizing.
I realize that it's tough to hire people these days, but I don't understand why they can't say, "you can have those when you're away from work, but you're not wearing them while you're serving food to people".
And yes, I'm fully aware that I'm old and people should stay off of my lawn.

This beating a dead horse topic of tattoos and piercings around here is funny. You think those women are going to be into chubby, polo and sperry wearing men with a frat swoop or whatever the post-college version of that is (aka your average TD poster)? No, they aren't. Just like many of the dudes around here won't be into the type of woman with tattoos and piercings. It is too much a contrast of style and type
