My first time at this event. Completely sucked...I heard the River Center was a MUCH better venue. WAY TOO CROWDED. I suppose it WAS an accurate representation of tailgating at LSU though. I could see the potential of that being an outstanding event, but the promoters completely dropped the ball having it at the PMAC.

We walked up to an hour+ line around 630...we turned around and went home. Not worth it, especially with all the trash.

The worst part of all was Jim Hawthorne was singing karaoke to ancient country songs. It was flat out embarrassing.

I don't know why, but threads where people bitch about events like this are entertaining as hell. As the details emerge, like Hawthorne on karaoke, it just gets better.
This thread is pretty good, but the one last year about the Houston alumni tailgate was the best. People were pissed!

He didn't sound that bad from what I could tell but I wasn't really listening to him that much because I was too focused on getting through the crowd of LP trash, making sure people didn't bump into me with plates of food, not getting run over by moms with big arse strollers, not slipping on the trash on the ground etc.

Meanwhile, my family went to CraveLINK in Lexington out in Masterson Station. Man, the food is damn good and we are heading back out in an hour to get more food, drinks, and listen to music.
