Bought four tickets and got in around 6:25. It was so packed, it took 40 mins to go through one line. When we made it to the other side, we left. I went straight back to the ticket window, demanding my money back. At first, they were not going to do it. After a couple minutes, another couple came up behind me, demanding their money back. After another 10 minutes, there was over a dozen people in line behind me, asking for refunds.
The ticket manager finally showed and started issuing refunds.

Fortunately I got these tickets for free. I've been to quite a few games and events on LSU's campus. This was by far the worst.

Mine were free and I just cut the entire line by going to the door that people weren't entering on... And just edging into the only entrance door. Took all of 40 seconds.
Once inside though it was a cluster frick. the trash can comments were spot on. Would have worked way better if they lined up the vendor tents in a circular fashion on the outside. And maybe another circle of them in the middle of the pmac.

I went to the last two before this year when they were downtown.
I won't go back. I got in free to the ones I went to. I thought it was awful even downtown so I can't imagine how it was today.
My take on it is that it's nothing but overweight guys who wear Walmart shite to games, who actually try to get full on the finger foods they serve only because it's free.
It's a joke.

been to it last 4 years and it's been awesome. this year, everyone i know left after 30 minutes. it took 30 minutes just to get in. worst event ever. couldn't move it was way too packed. just plain awful. vendors were great when i could get to them but just way too many people for that small a venue. wont go back

Guys bid day is Sunday evening.
Girls was Saturday afternoon.
The sorority row frats did have prime PNM viewing real estate. However I didn't see any OT'ers in kayaks this year. Maybe a few just happened to be jogging the lakes.
Anyways. It was a big party.

I truly have no idea what the appeal of an event like this would be. Sharing piles of food, cooked in bulk, with hundreds of other people in a crowded space? And don't act shocked by the trash. You are stupid if you didn't expect that considering the amount of free or handed out tickets floating around. Fat pieces of trash will never pass on free food and beer.
Go eat somewhere other than the Wal Mart deli or Ci Ci's if you want to try all of this amazing BR food. Leave shite like this to the commoners.
