Customer ire has pushed Target to remove its ' Baby Daddy' greeting cards from stores ahead of Father's Day.
Frustration with the cards first started approximately 2 weeks ago when Facebook user Takeisha Saunders posted a photo of the card.
She said: 'You CANNOT be serious Target!!!! Really!!!?!!!!? This was the only Father’s Day card that featured a black couple!!!!!!'

Saunders had found the particular card at a Rockwall, Texas, location but comments on her post detailed how the card was housed at stores across the country.
The sand-colored card features what appears to be a couple of color and the phrase 'baby daddy' in maroon lettering.
The inside of the card, as noted by a user on Saunders' post, does include the message: 'You're a wonderful husband and father - and I'm so grateful to have you as my partner, my friend, and my baby daddy.'

I'm actually jealous they don't have that with white people on the card because I'd buy the shite out of it.

Mass confusion equal Father's Day in black town.

80% of black children are born into single-parent families. Target is just playing the odds.
Dat's Just My Baby Daddy

At least it wasn't an interracial couple.

Nailed it right down to the cheap hooker boots.

I have to say for once I’m with the SJWs on this.

I mean... it’s not white and Asian people who use the term “baby daddy”.

What's the most confusing day in the hood?

That shite is funny and I would like to meet the person that approved this.

I'm going there today to find one for my 74-year old white mother to give my 75-year old white father.

I’ve offered one of my PR firms to assist Target in this harrowing ordeal. They’ll be ok.

Lady on Twitter:
This target card is outrageous!
Society:
Would you like to talk about the amount of children born to single mothers in the black community?
Lady on Twitter:
Oh. I just wanted to complain about some shite for attention I don't actually want to have a conversation or attempt to fix or help anything.

It’s not how we got here and it doesn’t serve the overall agenda, svp.
